Unlike humans, worms have no teeth. They rely entirely on fine-grit particles to grind food in their gizzards, making grit an essential, and often overlooked, component of a thriving worm colony. Without it, digestion slows, reproduction drops, and overall colony health suffers. Additionally, the high calcium content actively supports worm health, egg production and helps neutralize the acidic conditions that naturally build up in busy composting bins, keeping odours down and your worms happy. 

How to Use:
Add 2 tbsp into fresh bedding when setting up or refreshing your bin. Once per month, sprinkle 1 tbsp for every 1,000 worms when adding food.
