Live Arrival Guarantee
At Wormera, we care deeply about getting your order to you safe and sound. The health of your live shipment is our top priority, and we take every step possible to ensure your worms arrive happy and ready to go.
We know that shipping live creatures comes with its challenges, and while the vast majority of our orders arrive without issues, we understand that occasional losses can occur during transit. That's why we've got you covered. We automatically include up to 10% extra worms with every shipment (the exact amount depending on your travel distance) as a built-in buffer for any minor losses along the way.
However, if losses go beyond that buffer, don't stress: we're here to make it right! Simply email us within 2 hours of your delivery with a clear photo of the affected worms, and our team will get back to you promptly. Once we've verified the loss, we'll take care of you with either a full replacement of your worms or a complete refund for the affected items whichever you prefer. Your satisfaction is what matters most to us.
Please keep in mind that shipping charges are non-refundable, as they are set by the carrier and are outside our control.
Standard Shipping Policy
We ship to all Canadian provinces and territories, including PO boxes. We do not ship internationally.
Insects cannot survive extreme temperatures or be permitted to sit in a warehouse or community mailbox for a weekend. As such, live insect orders are only mailed weekly on Mondays (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday) but they may be delayed in the event of excessively cold or hot weather during the delivery time. For mealworm orders, we will only ship if the forecasted temperatures are above -15⁰C and below 25⁰C. For red wigglers, this temperature range is between 0⁰C and 25⁰C. Live orders must be received the day before shipping to allow for processing time. Non-live orders will be shipped within 3 business days of payment.
If you provide an email address when you place your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order is fulfilled. Please check your spam folder before contacting us regarding order status.
Canada Post FlexDelivery
When placing orders for our live items, we highly recommend setting up Canada Post FlexDelivery. Your order will be delivered and held for pickup at your nearest post office, rather than being left outside your home or in a mailbox all day. Details and Account creation can be found at Canada Post FlexDelivery. Use the address provided by Canada Post as your shipping address when you place your order. We deliver to PO Boxes.
