These Darkling/mealworm beetles are within a week of moulting. We inspect for quality before shipping so you will receive the healthiest and most active beetles to increase your breeding stock. Since they are newly moulted they are just beginning the egg-laying cycle.
The male/female ratio is not guaranteed but should be approximately 1 to 1.
