Perfectly sized for your smaller companions! Wormera's small/medium live mealworms (Tenebrio molitor) average 13mm (½") in length, making them the go-to feeder for pets that struggle with larger worms. Unlike our large or extra-large varieties, these worms are easy to swallow and gentle on smaller digestive systems, reducing the risk of impaction or feeding stress.
These are the ideal choice for juvenile bearded dragons, leopard geckos, tree frogs, dart frogs, small spiders, pet fish, small birds and other compact feeders that need right-sized nutrition without the bulk. Rich in protein and healthy fats, they make an excellent dietary supplement that supports healthy development in growing and smaller-bodied animals.
Raised on fresh garden produce - pumpkins, zucchini, carrots, and potatoes - and completely hormone-free and chemical-free, Wormera's mealworms are as clean as they are nutritious.

Basic Mealworm Care Instructions:
Store your mealworms in a breathable container in the refrigerator at 3-7°C (37–45°F) to slow their metabolism and extend their active lifespan. Use our Optimal Worm Food & Bedding or wheat bran for substrate. Once a week, add a thin slice of carrot, potato or apple for hydration. Remove any uneaten produce after 3 hours to prevent mould. Honestly the best deal I’ve had for mealworms so far, it arrived very quickly and all the mealworms were alive and healthy, it came with a care guide too which was nice. They’re also extremely cheap for the price they’re asking and is honestly worth the money if you don’t mind shipping costs. I highly recommend this company if you’re looking for mealworms, I will be buying again :)

I have an ongoing subscription with Wormera and the worms have always been of excellent quality! They are also extremely attentive to customers, when the Canada Post disruption happened last year, I was contacted by one of the owners to let me know that they would keep my order until the strike ended. Extremely happy with my order! I 110% recommend ordering from wormera! I was a little worried about the 8 days shipping to my location but the worms and beetles that arrived were alive and well! My first order was great but I am not sure I was sent the right worms. I ordered large but they were huge. This time I ordered small/medium which are pretty small compared to the large. I didn't know there would be that much of a difference. The large were easily 5 times the size. I am trying to feed an injured bird. He is thriving but wasn't interested in the large mealworms. Other than that, the service is great.
