Red wigglers (Eisnia Fetida) are the most popular composting worm on the market. They are small but can eat approximately 25% of their body weight daily. They are tolerant of temperature ranges and pH levels, although the ideal temperature range is 18°C to 24°C with a neutral pH.
Our pure red wiggler worms are always cleaned before being weighed, so you receive an accurate worm weight in every order. Our policy is to add 10% extra to account for any loss during shipping.
The size and number of worms will vary, however:
- 1 lb is approximately 800-1000 worms
- 1/2 lb is approximately 400-500 worms
- 1/4 lb is approximately 200-250 worms
- 1/16 lb is approximately 60-65 worms

The worms took longer than I expected to arrive but they did and all the worms still seemed to be alive. I checked th enext day after I put them in compost pile and they were gone so I figured they got right to work and started breaking down the compost.
We had some weather issues to coordinate safe delivery of the worms but this company was thoughtful and proactive in their ways. Pleasures of dealing with a small, organized, farming company. The bedding everything was sent in was clean and it’s been 2 weeks and the worms are settled, the cocoons are hatched. Little worms are happening and soon to be overrun (hopefully!) Happy to be back into worming and would recommend Wormera if you know what you’re doing and just need a good batch of starters!

Awesome products, came in fast and was all healthy. Did not respond to customer service messages when I tried to change my order immediately after purchase however. Still haven’t heard a reply either. So I would say customer service contact is limited.
